Thimble:

It is insert into the eye of the rope to provide a smooth and round surface against which the wire rope rests. This helps prevent the rope from kinking, fraying, or getting damaged at the point of contact with other objects or surfaces.

To use a thimble:

• Insert the thimble into the eye of the wire rope before forming the loop or termination.
• The thimble should be properly size to fit the diameter of the wire rope and prevent excessive movement within the thimble.
• Once the thimble is insert, you can proceed to attach the wire rope to an anchor point or use it as need.
